From Fabric Scraps to Useful Design
A practical small-workshop flow begins with clean collection, careful sorting, washing where appropriate, drying, inspection, and grouping. Larger pieces may become panels; long narrow pieces can become borders or handles; smaller stable pieces can support appliqué and patchwork. Design should follow the material rather than force every scrap into the same outcome.
